SeaView System’s Long Distance Remotely Operated Vehicle is a custom ROV fitted with fiber optic telemetry system and custom power handling equipment. It is driven by four (4) 300W brushless DC thrusters (vector thruster configuration) giving a total forward thrust of 72 lbs. The ROV is built into a custom plastic frame fitted with freewheeling wheels on the top surface to provide smooth running along the crown of pipelines and tunnels.
For operations within the US and Canada the equipment is generally hauled to the inspection location in a small 10’ x 5’ covered trailer however the entire system is set up for air-freight as three packages with total weight of 2000lbs (900kgs).
