TechWorks Marine Ltd., a long-established SeaView partner based in Dublin, Ireland, will introduce their new MiniBuoy at Ocean Business 2025 in Southampton this April. TechWorks’ MiniBuoy features instrumentation well designed to accommodate a comprehensive suite of sensors for water quality, metocean, and other measurements. This includes SeaView’s industry-leading SVS-603HR wave sensor, with which TechWorks has significant experience dating back to 2016. While they’ve historically focused on larger (2m+) buoys for coastal and open ocean applications, the TechWorks MiniBuoy, deployable by a team of just two from a modest vessel, offers unique capabilities for monitoring water quality parameters including nitrates in inland rivers among many others.
The MiniBuoy will be deployed live at the conference venue. Attendees are invited to visit TechWorks at Ocean Business booth J1 from April 8-10 to see a real-time data feed from the buoy and consult with experts on the many applications for the MiniBuoy or their larger platforms!
