Nautics Unmanned Surface Vehicle

SeaView Systems has been using the services of Dan Myers from ROV Specialties for many years. He’s been involved in the development of many products including the LDROV, Raptor and parallel scaling lasers.

Dan latest product is an unmanned surface vehicle call the Nautics.

Nautics is a radio controlled, (Plug and Play) water surface-borne vehicle whose standard payload set includes side scan sonar and downward looking 360 degree sonar, GPS, along with a forward looking driverseat camera view and fully loaded with beacon, navigation and searchlight for those night launches. Nautics can be operated at line-of-site ranges of up to one mile and is ideal for search and recovery, exploration and in-situ science applications. The Nautics can be customized to carry various payloads such as winch operated sondes or other specialty sensors, instruments or cargoes (contact ROVSpecialties). The Nautics represents an off the shelf economical and safer alternative to water surface operations historically requiring human presence.
