“We surround ourselves with smart people.”
SeaView Systems, Inc was founded on experience in the world of maritime electronics and Remotely Operated Vehicles. We are a small, growing group with skill sets covering ROV operations and high end underwater surveys including the use of Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) for geo-referencing and 3D sonar & laser modeling. In keeping with our ongoing commitment to improve the quality of our service, SeaView Systems has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification.
Besides operations, our in-house team covers electronic, electrical and software design. In order to leverage the strong engineering capability of SE Michigan where we are based, we act as a technical hub to a number of other small businesses in our area who also have very strong capability in specializations such as mechanical design, fabrication and machining. By presenting to our clients as a systems development prime contractor, we provide a one-stop-shop for the development of sophisticated, specialized tooling for subsea applications but with lower overhead and shorter lead times then our clients may be used to. By working in the role of “teambuilder” we have built a record of successfully executing tasks that may typically be considered beyond the scope of such a small business.
SeaView strives to build relationships with and support the efforts of other service providers working in the world of underwater intervention technology. Such providers include diving contractors, civil engineering firms and offshore oil and gas service providers. Through these collaborations, we have added value to all parties and we will work to enhance those relationships in the future.
Since starting inshore operations in 2003 we have built up an extensive portfolio of more than 50 ROV projects working in 6 different countries catering to varying industries including Hydro Electric, Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Municipalities (water and sewerage), Pulp Mills, Mines, Military/Police and Science (NOAA and NASA).
