Smart Grapple
The Smart Grapple is a thruster driven, fiber optically controlled grapple used for marine salvage work capable of picking payloads of up to 1500 lbs.
The Smart Grapple is suspended by a heavy lifting line which also controls its vertical motion. The lateral motion is provided by four vector configured thrusters. It has high intensity dimmable LED lighting, a pan/orbit/zoom camera as well as a tooling camera integrated into the jaws.
A range of attachments is available including scoops and serrated jaws. Specific tools can also be fabricated for unique tasks.
